A little bit about us

Sunny’s Daycare exists because leaving your dog home alone all day while you answer emails that could absolutely answer themselves feels a little unfair.

We’re a Melbourne-based dog walking and sitting business offering small-group care, structured walks, enrichment, supervised play and extremely important stick investigations.

The goal is simple: happy, tired dogs who come home fulfilled instead of ricocheting off your furniture at 7pm.

At Sunny’s, we keep things intentionally small and personal. No overcrowded rooms, no chaos-for-the-sake-of-chaos, and no treating dogs like they’re all built the same. Some dogs want to sprint laps with their friends, some prefer a slower walk and a nap in the sun, and some are mostly here for emotional support and snacks. We respect that.

We take the time to properly get to know every dog – their routines, quirks, energy levels and the things they probably shouldn’t eat at the park but will absolutely try to anyway.

Safety and trust are a huge part of what we do. Dogs are carefully matched, supervised closely and given plenty of rest throughout the day. Owners get regular updates, photos and reassurance that their dog is thriving, behaving beautifully, or at the very least not leading a small-scale rebellion.

At the end of the day, Sunny’s is about creating a place dogs are genuinely excited to come back to – and giving owners peace of mind while they’re busy doing human things.
